Time to be supercharged

Post by Sgt Harding on Tue Apr 20, 2010 10:51 pm

Planing on putting the superchager in this weekend. But here is the problem I ended up
getting a mk4 revo chip instead of a mk3 chip not sure if it would work though. I got the chip for free so no big deal if it doesn't work. So my question is does anyone know if it would work or not. if not does anyone know were I could get one asap at a good price

It will most def, NOT work. Needs to work with the correct ECU. What type of SC are you using?

The chip came out of a 99 jetta mk4, my jetta is a 99 mk3. That's why i thought it might of worked. It's a Neuspeed SC.

Sorry Lach I gotta spank ya on this...

in 99 VW went from the MK3 - MK4 mid year... in doing so, they did a major overhaul. Not only did the chasie change but so did most of the wiring, sensors and obvously the ECU. So this would be the equivilent of taking a 3rd Gen ECU and sticking it into a 1st Gen
