94 Mustang 3.8
My 94 3.8, work in progress.
She isn't the best looking car but i traded my junky 130k mile Dodge Neon for it, and she's only got 12k under the hood.
Couple pics of some chassis work i did today (needed a new tire rod end.)

What are the plans? GT clone? Turbo'd 6? What is the wish list?

Re: 94 Mustang 3.8
Welcome to the forums man, looks like a decent shell for a project car... I pretty much know everything there is to know about Mustangs so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask...

I appologize for not welcoming you before. I must have assumed that you were in the new members area first for that...::facepalm::... Shell looks good. Boost is always a nice way to wake up a weak 3.8, just make sure you do it wisely. Dont just throw a turbo into it and call it a day. Do your research on air, fuel, block strength, connecting rods, head studs and gaskets, programming, the works. If you dont, you may wind up with some good sized holes and chunks of metal. GL.

Re: 94 Mustang 3.8
Thanks for the warm welcomes guys
I've seen your car a few times Martini, gorgeous car. Thanks for the compliments, I'm just working on getting the suspension fixed, the front left strut is busted (i think) creaks quite frequently. Yeah i figured everybody has a a v8, why not make my v6 faster? I just want to get the engine cleaned up right now then i'm going to invest in some decent internals and the required cooling elements so i can push ~18psi. Hopefully i'll be able to find a relatively good tuner i can wire my laptop up to for on the fly tuning. Shooting for low to mid 300s. Looking to get into drifting at some point. Oh btw, where can i get a set of "abducted" stickers like you have on your windshield?

Ahh the good old Ford Squeak.. Chances are it's the bushings in your upper control arm or in the hinge for your hood.... Every mustang I've ever owned did it... (Check your sway bar bushing too they last about as long as a tank of gas does)
As I said in the PM I just sent ya, you want to go superchager, Turbo's in the mustangs don't go too well.. Head's cant handle it as they sit, where you can buy a super charger made spacificaly for your v6 that comes with everything you need from the belt to the computer tune... You'll see better # and realiability with a SC over a TC...
As for the Abducted logo, you'll have to become a member to get one of those bad boys... :-)

Re: 94 Mustang 3.8
Thanks, I'm working tomorrow so it'll have to wait till tuesday, i'll get that tire off again and take a look at the control arm as well as the sway bar. I'm replacing the front struts pretty soon anyways so that will rule that out. Once I get the car up to snuff on safety (air bag light is still on from engine swap and i need to replace the exhaust) I'll start on my engine modifications. This IS my daily driver though so i'll have to finish the internals in a weekends time (without a lift by the way.) Is there a garage that you typically use anywhere around here?

Thanks for the welcomes guys. And i think I might go SC for the reasons Martini listed, a twin turbo setup on this car would bankrupt me haha.

Re: 94 Mustang 3.8
Build update, possibly going to start cloning this dude's build.
"built RPM v6 4.3L motor, stock 3.8L Ford block, stock 4.2L F150 crank, forged piston and rods, TMA v2 Twin Turbo kit"
Going to see if I can get in touch with him for details.

Re: 94 Mustang 3.8
Looks to be a solid build, I've been pricing some new internals. Lost my job and now the Ignition cylinder is starting to frequently lock up so I'll have to put off my mods for now, but hopefully santa's bringing me that new air intake and throttle body i asked for.
