We appreciate you guys adjusting the date and just wanted to spread the word over here

Reklessracing.net's annual season opener is back again for the 5th time. It will be held May 1st at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI. Start time is approximately 11am and will go till the last person leaves. The past four were huge and we hope to have it even larger this year. Everyone is welcome to come all we ask is to please act civil.

Blah, all I ever hear about is DSM in my house. If it isn't a DSM, Evo, or Audi...it isn't a real car. lmao. My poor IRL is continuously insulted. :'(

i would never mix the unreliability of a dsm with the overengineeredness of a german car.. lol

DSMs are only unreliable when you screw with them too much and cut corners. (unless they crank walk...lmao) Mine was built solid and built right and I had very few problems. The minor problems I had were age-related wear~and~tear type problems...not unreliability. I also kept up on all preventative maintenance...so even wear and tear didn't affect my car much. I was lucky and bought my car from a 40 year old guy who owned it for most of it's life and babied the heck out of it...so I just continued the care. It hard finding an unraped DSM.

Your one of the few people i know that had no major damage to your DSM. Hell my 1G blew up on the way home from the registry. And i could hear the 2nd gen slowly blowing up and called it with in 2 weeks of when it would grenade

I've owned 3 dsm's over the past 6 years and one thing I have learned... DSM's are the most reliable car in the world as long as you don't drive them... Smile

When I bought my GSX I was looking for a good shell and something that ran fairly decent. We got it home From NH Then found out it was crank walked. But i really didn't care since I had my Motor sitting on an engine stand in my garage. We then swapped it, upgraded a couple of things and did every maintenace possible to it. After finishing it I was looking at the title and the previous owners bill of sale from it, turns out he only had it for a year and the las registered state prior to NH was FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!! I shit a brick when i found that out!!!!!!! Moral of the story its hard finding an un raped un modded DSM, We drove an hour and a half to and from Manchester, NH to get it. Good thing was it was completely stock other than a stereo and 17" rims that was it! pirat

I ended up not going due to three reasons one Both of my dsms r out of commision for the moment and two i had to work, and three i was moving my projects and garage all at the same time!

it just looks like the whole Southern New England Sceen is dying... Most of the local clubs are falling out or just not doing anything period. Even we have slowed down, grandted its still early in the season, but most of us are not finished with our winter projects to have cars on the road...

Hopefully something will pick up soon...
