DIY exhaust hanger

As most of you know my car is a a v6 and as such i only have 1 muffler hanger on my car (drivers side) as of now my passenger side muffler is held on by hopes and dreams. My question is, is it possible to spot-weld a hanger for the muffler? I have the little rubber piece. Help would be greatly appreciated, if the exhaust falls off I'll die.

the muffler no the exhaust pipe yes all you need to do is line it up and bend a piece of steel and weld lol just prime or undercoat asap cuz it will rust and rot much quicker than the rest of your exhaust.
