Idoling problem

ok i have a 95 eclipse gsx ok at startup my car will shudder at really low rpm's if not die out this problem occurs at idol or when im in boost and shift the rpm's will drop really fast any ideas anything will help Thanks Andrew

Possibly a vaccum leak. Its been known to happen on all 4g63t engines. Check all your vaccum lines, including the ones that run off the intake manifold itself. Make sure everything is closed up and good to go. That should fix your problem.


If it doesnt, pull your MAF and spray carb cleaner in there to get rid of all that crap build up. Less air for your turbo will make your car run like donkey dick, so make sure everything is clean.

also check to make sure ur bov isn't leaking or too loose that will cause it too. and like joe said check "EVERYTHING"! TRUST ME! HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY GST!
